Hey, I’m Esther!

I’m the lead designer and creative director behind Sereth Design.

I have eight years of design experience: three of which I spent working in large advertising agencies, one I spent working at a global non-profit, and the last four building Sereth Design.

I started Sereth Design with the intention to take my talents and experience to support small-to-medium sized businesses that were changing the world (...just a complete switch from the Fortune 500 companies I worked with in the agency world...!). Through Sereth Design, I am honored to work with entrepreneurs, social enterprises, and mission-driven brands all over the world to tell their stories and spearhead social impact.

My approach to design is rooted in storytelling.

Which I fell in love with through three stages of life:

01 / Living abroad in China with my family for 6 collective years during my childhood;

02 / Studying Advertising at the University of Oregon: School of Journalism; and

03 / Interning abroad at a local radio station in Ghana during university.

I found it incredibly powerful to bridge the gap between culture and design and tell unique tales of lives lived. I found that through design, I could tell stories, evoke emotion, and connect people across cultures and landscapes.

I am most inspired by my travels, romps through nature, and deep conversations around the dinner table. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me poring through yet another book about gardening, making food for my friends, or hanging out on the patio with my partner and dreaming of our next road trip.
