Who we are

We are an intimate creative design studio using design and technology to foster connection.

Our purpose

To use power of design to make change in the world.

Our Mission

To support those who are making a difference in the world to tell their story through powerful design.

Humble Beginnings

Sereth opened in 2021 as an independent practice by our founder, Esther Knox-Dekoning.

Women working at a wooden table, one standing and smiling, another sitting and sketching, in a bright, airy room with large windows and white curtains.

Esther began her career at global advertising agencies, working on campaigns for household names. But she couldn't shake the feeling that her skills were serving profit rather than purpose. She left big advertising for an in-house design role at an international nonprofit, and on the side she began building a client base of small and medium-sized businesses and organizations.

More than five years later, Sereth has grown into a small but mighty team and a recognized design studio for nonprofits.

Collaboration & partnership

Our team is comprised of creative changemakers.

We don’t believe in going at it alone. Our ever-growing roster of designers, developers, strategists, tech experts, and content curators bring diverse cultural backgrounds and creative expertise to our work.

Our core values

Intentionality

Thoughtfulness and purpose guide everything we do. We're intentional in every conversation and bring careful attention to the details of each design project.

Collaboration

We believe the best results come from working together. As your creative partner, we want the best for you, and we know we're stronger together than we are apart.

Empathy

We believe that understanding people starts with empathy: for their stories, who they are, and what they're going through. We bring that empathy to every partnership, and it shows in design that truly resonates with the people it's meant for.

Authenticity

We're committed to telling honest stories through design and letting your personality shine through every piece of work. We believe that when you show up as your true self, you stand out in a sea of sameness.

Our approach

We believe that all brands have the power to resonate with audiences, we just have to uncover it.

We value the power of stories: the emotions they stir and their ability to bring people together around common ground and shared goals. We meet every client where they are and help them dream about where they want to go.
